Fish like this in winter are all the motivation you need

Rigs don't need to be complicated

01 Take a bottom bait straight out of the bag and neatly cut in half like so.

02 Reverse the halves back-to-back and thread onto your Hair Rig next.

Trimming the sides off the hookbait will increase the flavour leakage

With more hours of darkness its pays to up the attraction level with a liquid

02 Add an equal amount of each colour boilie to a Korda Krusher tool.

03 Now grind down the boilies until you have a pellet-like crumb like so.

04 Add a good handful of the boilie crumb to some wide PVA mesh next.

05 I like to twist the PVA down to get a snug knot at the top of the bag.

06 Tie a second knot ready to form the next bag and cut between the two.

07 The next step is to thread the bag onto the hooklink with a long needle.

08 Add some PVA friendly Stick Mix Liquid to the bag to boost attraction.

01 Ideally pick a couple shelf-life boilies of contrasting colours like these.
