BOILIE

Over the years this has changed, of course it's been Cell and the Hybrid, the last year or so it's been the new fishmeal bait. It's really hard to say a favourite as I'm totally confident in the bait range, without sounding biased in the last three years every time I been abroad, I've taken Banoffee and caught so many carp I've often wondered why don't use this shelf life bait in my fishing more at home. So, if I had to pick a favourite, and something I had to use forever, it would be the High Impact Shelf Life range Banoffee. Surprised? Don't be when you try it. I believe that shelf life baits are one of the most overlooked baits in carp fishing.

HOOKBAIT

Milky Toffee pop ups have caught me a lot of fish, as a pop-up bait it has everything, from a visual factor to a great attraction and smell. The colour is white and the reason this is so effective is white is the colour most bait turns once it has been in the water over 24 hours, this means the Milky Toffee is are quite often accepted as a safe bait to the carp giving you a big edge. If I'm finishing bottom baits I will almost all the time top them with a pop-up Quad and my favourite is the Essential Cell.

LIQUID

So recently the Smart Liquids have played a big part in my fishing and it's not often I'll fish without using them now. I quite like the Cream and Fruit versions. That said, I have to say the Hemp Oil is also very good and I'll often cover baits in it just to trap the carp in the mid layers above my baited area
