Cellsational Brace of Irish Carp! 25th August, 2012

Mainline carper, Micky Killen has been in touch recently with this CELLsational report from the Emerald Isle!

Although Ireland provides some of the best fishing in the world it's perhaps not the species of carp that gives this reputation, but with catches the likes of which we have been receiving from Micky, there's plenty of proof that there are Big-Carp to be caught.

Fishing a 36hour session at Lareen Fishery, Maynooth, Micky applied a large bed of CELL boilies to get the fish moving between baits to try and increase their confindence and the tactic certainly paid off. Firstly with a 30lb 12oz fish coming to the net, followed by a massive 37lb 12oz mirror to complete a fantastic brace of Irish carp!
