Rob Saunders A promising spring weekend turned into a cold wet frosty one with north winds so fishing continued to be slow on the lake. A few better fish had been showing in one area of the lake so that’s where I started. But the lake was growing very busy and I was getting penned in. An early morning move to a point swim was in order. Once in place I set about preparing the spots with small amounts of mixed size cell boile soaked in cell stick mix and smart liquid. The night passed without a sign but by lunch time the fish were showing around the spots, shortly after the left rod was away with a 38lb common then an hour later the right rod was away producing a perfect 47+ common. A short feeding spell then they moved off as fast as they arrived
