Mainline carper, Scott Grant enjoyed a recent trip to Lac De Premiere with good friend Dean Macey. Scott Smashed his over-sea's PB firstly with a 42lb grass carp followed by a 48lb 8oz mirror captured by the Tight Lines film crew.
Scott didn’t fish in the daytime and used the opportunity to bait the swim in the morning and in the evening before putting the rods out. He used a mixture of Cell and New Grange boilies using around five kilos per day. Rig-wise Scott used a critically balanced Snowman Rig topped-off with a New Grange mini dumbbell pop-up. Finishing-up his session with nine fish including three forty-pound carp to 48lb 8oz!
