Mainline Baits Consultant and fishing 'all-rounder' Dean Macey took a short trip out to France recently and despite the challenging conditions still managed to angle a result!
Hoping to complete some new features for Guru and Korda, Dean was met with strong NE winds and temperature dropping to below zero! Although not to be put off, Dean masterfully used a mixture of New Grange and Cell baits to land ten fish to 35lb when everyone else had been struggling to catch two or three fish.
Deano caught all his fish on a trimmed down snowman presentation incorporating a size 6 Korda Wide Gape hook, 20lb N-Trap Soft and a simple lead clip setup fished at 80yds range where he baited with three kilos of 18mm boilies.
