About Jim Wilson

I started Carp Fishing when I was around 10 years old, I’d started fishing for whatever came along when fishing with my Dad and younger brother, and it progressed from there really, having caught a carp I wanted to catch more and more, then bigger and bigger, and now I’m at the stage where I tend to target individual fish that have a bit of character and are normally a challenge to catch, I’ve fished wide ranging venues from 2 acre farm ponds to 100+ acre lakes and love the different challenges they each present. I’m the relative new boy in the Mainline camp and following my initial results I really am excited about what the future holds.
