About Andy Bennett

Andy started fishing at 15 years of age, catching bitterling from a small lake behind his house. Based in Manchester, he learned his trade around commercials in the Northwest of England, before pushing himself to fish festivals around the UK, including White Acres where he’s now won multiple events in style. Other titles include an Angling Trust Silverfish Final victory, two Daiwa Pole Fishing Masters wins, and a Drennan Winter Pole Championship winners trophy to name just a few! He is a full-time angling consultant, does angling coaching in the summer months during any spare time, and also helps in the product development and testing area for Tackle Guru. On the media front, he’s regularly featured on the Tackle Guru channels in productions such as Fishing Gurus, Gurus Underwater, Rig Clinics, Bitesize films and more. Long term, his aims are to remain at the top of the game and as consistent as possible for the foreseeable.
