Sean Fretwell 48hrs session in this very hot weather produced bights only on 1st light. The 1st morning resulted with 2 carp, a 28lb common and a 30.8 mirror two two off the rods. How ever third third and right hand rod was producing so many liners, showing carp were in the area. With rods reeled in for the day resting the swim, Early evening saw me putting the rod back on the spots, with one exception the right hand rod that received the liners was fished 2 rods short off its original position.. 5.15am the next morning saw me receiving 2 bleeps on the repositioned rod, with the line tightening up I picked up the rod to find the fish had already reached a weed bed. Out in the boat I got the carp moving and netted a mirror and a big ball off weed. Parting the weed to see the single scale on its flake, I knew wat fish it was.. On the scales A new UK PB @52Lb the king off the pond single scale.
