James Floyd Went to durleigh planned a 2 day stint in going peg next to a out of bounds, first day fish were on the wind, boshing all over far bank. That evening I managed a take unfortunately after the scrap of my life it was foul hooked, Gutted. 20+ slipped back went home not that happy but plan of attack… Next day i fished longer but still retaining absolute perfection in spodding casting ect 28wraps , I had my rods wrapped and baits on rigs night before which consisted of snowman, i do this too maximise my fishing time as Very restricted too gates, i smashed all 3 put absolutely pukka to the spot near a old stream that night it had rained so allotta water was fludded in attracting the carp like a magnet. No sooner as all 3 rods were out left hander was away got that in a high double scaley unhooked and retained, rod back out another away carried on like this for a good hour 4 bites loosing one a decent mirror bit gutted… 2nd bite was this amazing common one of the lake’s largest residents just super spawned out/empty but none the less chuffed! I late go on to have another 3/4bites at end of the day! Resulting in more high double/low 20s brilliant day out and back there tommorrow iso fish really doing the doo!
