Joe Turnbull I was not looking forward to the weekend as the temperatures were looking to be seriously hot. Generally catching carp in such weather is a nightmare but I had a social planned with a good pal so we went ahead anyway. By Sunday we’d had 15 bites between us including 2 30’s one a piece. Losing several in thick weed but so surprised at the bites in scorching weather! I’m also convinced that the Smart liquid pulled them down onto the baited area.
