Nick Howard I hadn't planned on doing anymore fishing this year due to impending parenthood but the conditions for December were amazing. Low pressure and overcast. I went back into a swim that i had done well from in the last few months, fishing a silt gully. I opted to give them some bait, but only crumbed up cell boilie soaked in Baileys. This is my usual winter tactic, fishing high attract hookbaits over the top. No action for the first 24 hours but at 6pm whilst on the phone to my fiance i had slow take. A hard battle at over 15 minutes saw me eventually win and a chunky 35.12 mirror sat in the net defeated. Not bad for a session in December.
