Daniel Oflynn After arriving at the venue and having a good look around i noticed a lot of fish showing close to the oppositebank. I pushed the barrow round and when standing in the swim i saw a large fish Stick it's head out at around 40 yards out. I made two casts to the area and found a small clear spot. To keep the disturbance to a minimum I cast a small solid bag to the spot and left it at that. At 11:45pm after I'd just dozed off I got an absolute screamer of a take and after a quite uneventful fight I looked in the net to see the fish I'd been after! "The Grand" at 50lb 2oz and a new uk pb!
