Daniel & Donna Staff-Howes This weekend saw us back down Billingford lakes but on a different lake. Donna booked the historic John Wilson lake for my birthday in hopes that we could catch some of the ancient residents that swim around in there. This lovely mirror was the one and only fish I landed on the first night and it turned out to be one of if not the oldest in the lake and also the biggest so to say I hit the ground running was an understatement. The following morning brought me back down to earth though as I had a hook pull on what would have been a birthday carp. The final morning saw Donna get an absolute ripper of a take and she landed a lovely stockie that was introduced last year.
