A January day session filming a new product ready for launch for Atomic Tackle soon turned into a little carve up. I managed 8 bites landed 8 fishing the new bait spikez from Atomic over a bed of corn and maggots. Opting to have the gallon of maggots left clean by the tackle shop I always like to use a bag of cell dedicated ground bait on them instead. I find it keeps them nice and dry, smelling lovely, and if they eat a little bit of cell during storage even better!! A definite edge when your maggot fishing. The best of the day being the Long Common at 35lb 8oz, one off the A team list and a great end to a very product 7 hour day session on a wet cold windy day in Jan!!
