Garreth Saunders Another successful winter trip to the park lake over the weekend landing 7 carp. 2x 30s, 29, 28.2, 27, 25 and a low double. Turning up to the lake after dark lapping to hear any signs of shows I managed to quickly find an area with a few continuing to show while I set up. A mix of mostly crushed 15mm Cell, cell response pellet and corn with only a few whole boilies in I got to work with the spomb. And it wasn’t long after getting some bait out I got the first bite of a 25 mirror but this was the cream of the crop being one of the parks rarest visitors to see the bank. Steady baiting after each bite managed to keep the carp feeding.
