It was sunny with some cloud during the day and it was warm but was blowing a north easterly wind. I decided to fish on the wind as it was blowing into this corner of the lake and this particular end was shallow. I knew that there had to be some carp here as it was a new wind and it was getting toward that time of year where they’d soon be backing off it.
