Ryan Butt After not fishing much since september i knew it was time to start thinking about putting some carp on the bank! Arriving a linchhill with not many swims available i settled to put myself up just for the night to move into a swim in the morning that tends to hold some carp when in the right conditions with a warm couple of days heading in. Moving in the morning i found my spots where 1 was on a washing line set on a gravel spot the size of a dinner plate in amongst some weed. Traps were set! Very quiet on the first night so had to have a think. Changing from a pop up to a wafter. Quiet throuth the 3rd night when at 3.30am the washing line went into melt down! Waders on and started playing something that didnt feel what i saw when it slip into the net! I said omg it’s singje scale!
