Gareth Evans Fishing at a range of about 70 yards in a gap between weed the bait and rig was dropped from a bait boat. Wether was high pressure low wind and temperatures around 6 degrees. The bite happened around 5:15 am when the fish immediately went straight for the weed and locked up. I had to take to the boat and when I got above the fish it popped out of the weed but wasn’t ready to be netted, the fish took me an a 15 minuet tow around the lake before it was ready to come in. What an epic battle!
