British Carp Angling Championships 2010 - Team Winners
Mainline Baits continued their domination of the BCAC Team Championships as they were presented with the team event trophy for an unprecedented 5th time at the recent BCAC finals at Broadlands Hants.
In the history of the British Carp Angling Championships no other team has come close to the Essex based bait companies domination of the team series and with 5 wins plus a massive number of podium places, the boys in blue are a force to be reckoned with. Read more.... |

Rob Marsh reviews Mainline's Team Results - BCAC
British Carp Angling Championships 2010 Mainline Have Clinched their 5th Bcac Team Championships. The team consisted of Rob Marsh and Lee Merritt bagging the title for the 4th time for mainline also Mark Bartlett and Kev Hewitt and finally Pete Holehouse and Ian Huttingdon.
This year’s event was hard fought between Mainline and our Mainline fox team and in the end just a few points settled the outcome. Read more.... |

For Agincourt read Aveyron - France v England
The French threw down the gauntlet: "Would we like to send a team of 25 pairs to Villefranche de Panat in the Aveyron region of France to compete against 25 French pairs?" I rang Kev Knight for help, like you would, and after considerable deliberation we accepted the challenge. Kev's sphere of influence through his Essex , Home Counties and Mainline-Fox connections are phenomenal. Until you have worked with Kev you cannot understand what a human dynamo this guy is. Between us, eventually, we had a team of 25 pairs of anglers willing to pay their way, travel the thick end of 1,000 miles, and put their reputations on the line to compete for their country against the French. The RAF Fly High - Armed Forces Match
The rivalry between the carp angling fraternities in the armed forces is massive and once a year they get to go head to head in the Inter Service Championships, earning the bragging rights for the next 12 months; something which the British Army have become accustomed to of late.
