The DreamLake Complex, consisting of six mature, tree- lined lakesoffers excellent carp and catfish angling on either our Inclusive Package or Voyage Self-Drive basis. Currently five of the lakes are open, the sixth housing a huge number of stock fish, ensuring future growth and development. We aim to provide our anglers with the highest quality French carp fishing holiday.

 Abbey Lakes is one of the longest established venues for carp fishing holidays in France and over the years we have seen it change from a ‘runs’ water to a ‘big fish’ venue.
The venue which is just 2 hours from Calais has 5 lakes to choose from, an awesome clubhouse, shower block and restaurant, bait freezers, charging points for your electrical equipment and even food deliveries to your swim!
The complex was created by the Harlé d'Ophove family with a unique aim to be the first European angling centre for carp and catfish and is now visited by many anglers of different nationalities.
 2000 saw the opening of two specimen carp lakes: Fox lake and Heron lake, as well at the opening of the Kingfisher lake which was stocked massively with huge cats and finally the opening of the Wildboar lake for the coarse and match angling.
In 2001 Attila lake was developed as a stocking lake and in 2002 a 6 ton stocking of small carp into the Wildboar lake was carried out whilst a complete draining of the Heron lake in order to clean the bottom and make it snag free took place.
The tackle shop and clubhouse opend in 2004 along with the restocking of the Fox, Heron and Attila lakes.
In 2006 we opened two more specimen carp lakes: Frog lake and Attila lake. We also launched a partnership with the famous MAINLINE BAITS.
2009 saw the restocking of Kingfisher Lake with carp from 26.4lbs to 52.8lbs and over!
We also launced our limited edition “Winter VIP Cards” (from the 1st November 2009 till
the 31st January 2010).

Cretelakes is a beautiful 4 lake venue set in 60 acres. The lakes are former gravel pits dug around 25 years ago and around this time they were stocked with carp and other course fish. The venue has been left undisturbed to flourish and mature with its tree lined banks and stocks of fish for two decades. In 2008 we acquired the lakes and set about creating a carp fishing holiday venue that would be second to none. After 6 months of tree removal 31 swims were created that were strategically placed to maximize everybody’s chances. In the winter of 2008/2009 we added a new stock of 850 fast growing French carp the original stock has already produced fish to 50+ and in 2009/2010 we expect some very big carp to be landed from the original stock.
The onsite facilities at Cretelakes are excellent with a fully equipped kitchen, a large seating area with sky TV, a shop stocking those essential items including a large stock of bait, and a shower block housing 4 showers and 2 toilets. The showers are open 24 hours a day and can be used at your own convenience.
Les Best is the head bailiff and is a qualified chef, he will be on hand to cook the all important meals and look after your daily needs. Les has a wealth of experience working and fishing on some very well known waters in France and has landed a string of big fish to just under 60 pound.
In March 2010 we will be running all inclusive trips that includes travel to and from Dover and meal packages including English breakfast and evening meals.
We have two fisheries, Etang le Rocher and Etang Moulin.
Etang le Rocher recently stunned an angler by producing a brace of 50's on the first day of his holiday! Just another day in the life of this amazing lake! Also Le Rocher has also produced 14 different 50lb carp this year alone with many pushing the 60lb mark - no other destination can offer you all this at our amazing prices!!

 We have now improved our idyllic 12-acre lake - ETANG DES FLORES - by connecting electricity, Wi-Fi and lighting to every swim, which makes the holiday experience even more enjoyable. The lake is stocked with around 400 carp - the majority being mid 30s plus – and literally stuffed with 40s. The highest weekly catch in 2009 was 101 carp with an average weight of 35 lbs. The biggest carp caught was 55 lbs 8 ozs and the sturgeon topped at 115 lbs. Lots of PB's were broken time and time again.

 Blavet Valley Carp Fishing Lakes in Brittany is a 24 acre woodland paradise set deep in Brittany's famous Blavet Valley - the idyllic setting for a fantastic carp fishing holiday in France.
Our 8 acre carp fishing lake was originally excavated for sand and gravel in the early 1960s to a depth of 6 - 12 ft with varying contours i.e. gravel bars and areas of sand and silt with no weed, also no Poisson Chat or Cray Fish. There are plenty of overhanging trees and foliage that create excellent margin fishing.
There are 14 swims (including 3 double swims) with a maximum of 8 anglers (we can accommodate larger parties if required). To make life easier you can drive and park your car next to your swim at the carp lake
The Carp fishing lake was originally stocked as an all round fishery and we know that included quite a few carp over 15 years ago. Since then we have introduced a further 172 top quality Carp - mirrors to 53lbs and commons to 38lbs, this being our stock from our previous Carp fishing lake in Brittany. We have subsequently added a further 100 carp to the lake. In February 2007 we added a further 18 Carp: 1x Mirror Carp 50+lbs, 5x Mirror Carp 40-48lbs, 1x Common Carp 41lbs, 12 Mirror Carp 30+lbs.
For 2008 we have added an extra 1.5 tonnes of carp to 50lb!

Abbey Lakes has established itself over the last few years as being in the elite of commercial carp fisheries in France, and now we have fish over 60lb now in two of the lakes on site, its reputation as a big fish venue is firmly on the map.
With Mainline now sponsoring the venue the future can only get better, and we will bring you the latest catch reports through ‘What’s Occurring’ each month.
There are four main carp lakes on site, Fox, Heron, Frogs and Attila. Fox and Heron are the two main big fish waters at 25 and 35 acres respectively, and each of them contains over 1000 carp, with several fish over 50lb in each lake. There are loads of forties too, with countless thirties and twenties to back them up.
Frogs Lake can be exclusively booked for parties of up to six anglers with an all inclusive food package, and with a recent stocking of 50 thirties to back up the existing stock of fish to over 50lb this lake is producing some fantastic captures. Finally we have Attila, which is the new addition to the carp fishing on the complex, and is our new runs water. Stacked full of doubles and with loads of bonus 20lb+ fish this is an incredible action venue. It can be non-stop on here so don’t expect much sleep!
The facilities at Abbey Lakes are stunning, with a large clubhouse on site with a bar and restaurant, as well as a tackle shop, toilet, shower facilities, pay phone, charging points… in fact everything you could need during your holiday. And all this only two hours from Calais!
