We recently received the fantastic news that the huge mirror carp known as the 'Northern Linear' had been caught on one our baits! Baits from the Mainline stable, such as Activ-8 and Cell have dominated catches from its Essex Manor home for some time, but it was the incorporation of our latest bait, NEW GRANGE that lead to its latest visit to the bank at an amazing top weight of 51lbs!!!
This awesome carp also set a new PB for its capture, Scot 'Lenny the Ribbon' Milbank, who caught the fish on a snow-man style hook-bait consisting of a 14mm New Grange bottom bait tipped with a trimmed down Mainline Hi-Vis Pineapple pop-up. This was fished with a PVA bag of chopped New Grange/Cell boilies with a further 30 baits catapulted over the top.
Well done Scot on this New Grange result!
