Mainline Baits continued their domination of the BCAC Team Championships as they were presented with the team event trophy for an unprecedented 5th time at the recent BCAC finals at Broadlands Hants.

In the history of the British Carp Angling Championships no other team has come close to the Essex based bait companies domination of the team series and with 5 wins plus a massive number of podium places, the boys in blue are a force to be reckoned with.

“It was a great year for Team Mainline” announced team captain Rob Marsh. “We all fished very hard and the competition is stiff but it was good to get to the finals and great to secure the Team trophy yet again. We’re looking forward to defending it next year”.

Making up the successful team for Mainline were the UK No 1 seeds Pete Holehouse and Ian Huttingdon, former British Junior Champion Mark Bartlett and big fish hunter Kev Hewitt, and awesome haulers Rob Marsh and Lee Merritt.

The Mainline boys will be back again next year aiming to defend their title so any teams wishing to enter the BCAC team event next year hoping to take away their title should register with BCAC HQ as soon as possible.
