As It Happens

Hello and welcome...

The better weather has seen plenty of hectic action for those that have chosen a Mainline bait so we'll get straight into the news. Don't forget to send in your catch news; we want to hear from you regardless of the size of the fish. If it made you happy, we want to share your success with others.

Until next time, keep those lines tight and be lucky.

This month's question... comes from Richard Scott of Cambridgeshire who asks:

“I am planning to use particle baits this summer and want to prepare themproperly – once prepared please can you advise if I can freeze any particlebaits? I have seen hemp frozen in tackle shops but please can you advise if Ican freeze others such as peanuts or maple peas?”

The first thing we would like to point out is that all particles must be preparedproperly, as incorrect preparation can lead to fish being harmed if used inexcessive amounts. Any particle can be prepared and frozen for use at a later date(including peanuts and maple peas). As and when you need to use them, takethem out the day before and defrost them thoroughly.

Many thanks for your question Richard. Richard wins a set of the newMainline/Fox pva bags.
