As It Happens

Hello and welcome...

As the season gets well under way we have seen some great fish on the bank and a good number of new personal bests. Don't forget to send in your catch news; we want to hear from you regardless of the size of the fish. If it made you happy, we want to share your success with others.

Until next time, keep those lines tight and be lucky.

This month's question... ... comes from Mark Williams of Essex who asks:

“I have been using small PVA bags of boilie crumb with good localwaters. How can I customise this even further to add to the attraction of the bag?”

I use PVA bags of boilie crumb for 80% of my fishing and the only limitation to thecontents of the bags is your imagination. My favourites include mixing the crumbwith the matching Hookbait Enhancement System to give a very ‘loose' smelly bagthat will leak the attractors off in the water for a long time. Other possibilitiesinclude any of the liquid additives such as the Activator, Corn Steep Liquor or one of the oils, the hemp oil being my favourite.

Many thanks for your question Mark. Mark wins a set of the newMainline/Fox PVA bags.
