Only the best is good enough
The mainline adventure

I have been carp fishing since 1984 and had been very success full, here in Belgium and in France.

River Maas 49lb plus caught on Maple8I fish on lakes (lac du der, Liez) canals (Kempish canal) and rivers (The Maas, Lot and mossele) and have caught fish on all of these waters in the past and present up to 50lb+

I have been always a believer that a good bait, will add to the success of an angler!!! That's why I started in 1998 to use Mainline baits, I had seen so many reports in the English magazines from anglers like Dave Lane (at Horton church lake) that it was time for me to start using these mainline baits!!!!

Danny Fairbrass (who came to fish in Belgium ) introduced us (me and my mate Jurgen) to Activ-8, and from that day somewhere in 98 on lake Hombeek I was addicted to this awesome bait that has caught me and (by now a few friends as well) so many carp, from a variety of lakes canals and rivers that it's hard to ever change baits again!!!

We fished with activ-8 for at least 5 years and it went from strength to strength. This bait was so good that it was hard to try something new from Mainline, but we did!!

Baits like NRG, Maple-8 and at present the Fusion (my Favourite along with Activ-8 from mainline)

This is no advert, its just my view on these baits, that it would be hard to go out fishing and not using them, I have so much confidence in mainline!!!

Because I know I will catch on them, and if I don't catch its not because the bait is not good but because the carp where not there or not feeding!!!

I know that being a good angler plays its part as well but I fished on water where I never fished before and caught instantly was it my watercraft to know where to fish or is the bait I'm using so good that carp can not resist eating it?? the pics of the fish I caught on it will say more than words ……..

Be lucky, and maybe see ya somewere
