I’ve been involved with Mainline for a while now and must say I’ve had excellent results using their bait. I have every confidence with any of their baits, no matter where I‘m fishing. My catch rate has certainly gone up since using it. It’s essential to use a good bait and have confidence in it if you want success, that’s why I go for the best. The rest just falls into place.

Travelling around the country and abroad fishing various venues as I do, I know I can rely on any of the products from the Mainline stable to help me catch. They have a complete range including boilies, pellets and dips and are all of excellent quality. Many of the boilies have stood the test of time and are still around today. This is because of the high standards that they strive to meet at Mainline.

Using a good quality bait is important to me. I don’t want to be worrying about whether I’m using the right bait. With Mainline I know I’m using the right bait.

I started fishing at a very young age for Dace, Roach, Perch etc., progressing to fishing solely for carp in the late seventies. I’d caught carp before then though, way back longer than I care to remember. From that early start it was a natural progression to go further a field, which I did and fished many lakes up and down the country.

Over the years I’ve caught carp from such places as Linear Fisheries, Buryhill Lake, Waveney Valley, Walthamstow, RMC waters ( now Cemex ), Withy Pool, Farlows, Chilham, Horseshoe, Broadlands, Rookley Country Park and many others to numerous to mention including The River Thames.

I have also fished for carp in France, Belgium and Spain. I fish in partnership with my son Ben in the British Carp Angling Championships and we are ranked second in the seedings. Along with Ben, I hold the world record for the most carp caught in a ratified 48 hour carp match, catching a total of 1776lbs 2oz of carp. I’ve been using Mainline Baits for many years now and have had excellent success with them.
